Supervisor for Planning and Scheduling at Eli Lilly's Medicine Foundry, overseeing maintenance planning and craft scheduling in a cGMP and FDA-regulated environment. Responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and coordinating maintenance activities with operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Sets expectations for a positive & proactive safety culture, ensures that all team members are knowledgeable and compliant regarding safety procedures, policies, permits and practices. Initiates and leads accident, near miss reviews and incident notifications. Ensures proper housekeeping procedures are maintained.
  2. Responsible for team’s compliance and meeting the quality standards as defined by cGMPs, the Global Quality Standards, and local procedures. This includes ensuring that all regulatory based PM’s are completed on schedule.
  3. Responsible for managing daily activities of the planning and scheduling team including attendance, overtime, resource planning, operational issues, performance management, development planning and reporting of results. Team schedule will be primarily Monday-Friday although nightshift and weekend support may be required based on business needs.
  4. Leads team of maintenance planners and schedulers who schedule all maintenance, calibration, and repair work for the site.
  5. Strong proficiency in using and training on GMARS.

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance planning and scheduling experience in an FDA regulated industry
  • Previous experience in maintenance leadership (supervisor, coordinator, or lead) in an FDA regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of CMMS systems (GMARS)
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
