This role is for a Technical Writer III at F5, focusing on developing and maintaining documentation for their Application Delivery and Security Platform. The writer will manage documentation projects, collaborate with various teams (Product, Engineering, UX, QA, Customer Success), and ensure content quality and accuracy. Key technical skills include Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, web technologies, and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration, and the ability to distill complex technical concepts into understandable content.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage technical documentation projects from design to release ready, working with stakeholders to identify, scope, and prioritize deliverables and release timeframes.
  2. Leverage cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs, define problems, and ensure document development aligns with business objectives and priorities.
  3. Collaborate with the Product team to gather requirements and provide input on user interface design, user experience, and documentation integration.
  4. Partner with Engineering, Product, UX Design, Quality Assurance, Customer Success, etc. to create content to support F5 products.
  5. Organize and facilitate the content review process. Review and edit technical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to style guidelines, ensuring that content meets quality standards and requirements.
