The Technician - QC - IAPI performs routine laboratory testing of samples in a regulated GMP environment, ensuring timeliness, safety, and compliance with documentation standards. This role involves identifying and escalating deviations, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position requires adherence to EHS and cGMP guidelines, data integrity principles, and supporting audits. Responsibilities include sample handling, in-process testing, equipment checks, and basic troubleshooting. A High School Diploma is required, with preferences for an Associate's degree and relevant experience with specific analytical equipment like HPLC, UPLC, GC, and Karl Fischer.

What you'd actually do

  1. Performs accurate, timely testing of routine lab samples in accordance with applicable GMP and safety guidelines.
  2. Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement within the lab.
  3. Ensure work is completed in a timely manner to meet sample TAT (Turnaround Time) and site priorities.
  4. Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and laboratory safety procedures.
  5. Execute activities in compliance with applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs), methods/protocols, good documentation practices (GDP), and regulatory guidelines.

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to work in a lab environment
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment
  • Demonstrated strong math and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication and interpersonal interaction skills
  • Ability to lift at least 5 liters of liquid and carry equipment up flights of stairs
  • Tasks may require repetitive motion and standing for long periods of time

Nice to have

  • 3 years+ of relevant experience
