Vendor Manager

T-Mobile is seeking a Vendor Manager to lead supplier relationship management for Credit, Fraud, Payments, and Collections operations. This role involves monitoring vendor performance, enforcing contracts, analyzing costs for savings, and collaborating with internal stakeholders on strategic planning and risk mitigation. The Vendor Manager will also act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manages and optimizes relationships with key vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  2. Monitors vendor performance and enforces contract terms to ensure compliance and analyzes vendor costs to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  3. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to implement strategic planning and best practices in vendor and supplier relationship management and risk management.
  4. Prepares and presents reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to leadership
  5. Act as a liaison between internal teams—such as Credit Strategy, Fraud Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Legal—and external partners to ensure seamless solution integration and timely delivery of capabilities.

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent.

  • 4-7 years - Managing and optimizing relationships with vendors in a corporate setting Required
  • 4-7 years - Analyzing vendor costs and managing budgets to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements Required
