Work You’ll Do
As a US Delivery Center Solution Specialist on the team, you will:
- Support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Extend applications and enhancements that run natively on the Workday platform.
- Collaborate with functional leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday Extend solutions.
- Build and support Extend-based solutions that enhance Workday Financials capabilities and automate manual, offline, or third-party processes within Workday.
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design sessions, prototyping, configuration, testing, and release activities.
- Troubleshoot application, configuration, and data issues; identify root causes and implement fixes to improve usability, performance, and quality.
- Support unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment validation activities.
- Document business requirements, solution design decisions, test scenarios, defects, and resolutions to support repeatable delivery and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
Required**:**
Bachelor’s degree
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to obtain and maintain required Workday certifications
2+ years of experience with Workday Extend
2+ years of experience supporting the design, build, testing, or deployment of Workday solutions
2+ years of experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solution designs within Workday
Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
- Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg)
- Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
- Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
- Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
Preferred:
Experience building solutions that extend Workday functionality for Finance, HCM, or Supply Chain use cases
Experience automating manual or offline business processes within the Workday platform
Experience working with Workday data, security concepts, and native user experience considerations
Workday Pro Extend Services Certification
Experience supporting Workday Financials, Business Assets, or Projects
Familiarity with integrations, reporting, or data validation activities within Workday deployments
SQL basics for data analysis, validation, or troubleshooting
Experience in ERP transformation, enterprise application deployment, or post-go-live support
