Workforce Planning Analyst, Air Dominance & Strike

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Air Dominance & Strike : Air Dominance & Strike Engineering : Business Operations

This role is for a Workforce Planning Analyst at Anduril Industries, a defense technology company. The analyst will be responsible for quantitative workforce planning, building staffing demand models, producing gap analyses, tracking the staffing funnel, and ensuring data quality across systems to support the Air Dominance and Strike Division's growth and program execution.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the quantitative answer to AD&S's #1 execution risk: do we have the right people on the right programs at the right time?
  2. Build and maintain staffing demand models across 50+ programs, integrating multiple systems into a single source of truth that leadership acts on
  3. Produce gap analysis at the program × dept × team level — not just "how many are we short" but "which discipline, on which program, and how long to close at current rate"
  4. Track the full staffing funnel from Hiring → Staffing → Billing, surfacing where breakdowns occur and who owns the fix
  5. Validate demand against Finance forecasts and flag misalignment before it reaches leadership
