Lead Solution Architect for Workplace Technology within JPMorgan Chase's Chief Administrative Office Technology. What you'd actually do

  1. Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs
  2. Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy
  3. Participates in architecture governance bodies
  4. Evaluates recommendations and provides feedback on new technologies
  5. Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field of study, plus experience in a related role (Solutions Architect, Senior IT Consultant, Senior Software Developer, IT Architect, etc.)
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplines
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
  • Deep understanding of Workplace infrastructure design and human usability patterns

  • Demonstrated leadership in product and solution governance and technical direction
  • Experience formulating design methodologies, coding standards, and defining best practices to improve quality deliverables
  • Familiarity with architectural assessment frameworks and strategy documents
