What you'd actually do

  1. Interpret customer requirements from RFPs and other solicitations.
  2. Collect and consolidate cost, schedule, and performance data from functional departments for material and subcontractor items.
  3. Select appropriate pricing methods (e.g., purchase‑order history, actuals, quotes) for each proposal item.
  4. Apply escalation, quantity‑variance, and extended‑cost factors to required quantities.
  5. Produce consolidated Bills of Material (BOM) to support price and cost analysis.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Nice to have

  • GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
