Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Nuclear Surety Systems Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role involves decomposing safety manuals into requirements, providing systems engineering expertise for a next-generation ICBM weapon system, and evaluating physical security designs. The engineer will use model-based engineering tools and interface with DoD and DOE.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform decomposition of Department of Defense safety manuals into requirements and allocating them to design teams for implementation
  2. Provide systems engineering expertise to the design, integration, and testing of a next generation ICBM weapon system
  3. Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost, risk, supportability, and analysis for mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems
  4. Evaluate the physical security design based on the Department of Defense Safety manuals
  5. Use model based engineering tools on a major weapon system to pioneer a new way to evaluate and analyze modern design

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
