This role is for an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst at Northrop Grumman. The analyst will be responsible for setting up and monitoring cost control systems, performing financial analyses, preparing budgets and schedules, and managing contract changes. The role requires a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. Experience with data analytics is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  2. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  3. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  4. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  5. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
