This role is for an Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Northrop Grumman. The responsibilities include supporting program proposals, researching part and supplier history, developing RFQ packages, managing the RFQ process, analyzing responses, providing updates, onboarding suppliers in ERP systems, and offering invoice support. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with MS Office proficiency and strong communication skills. Experience in aerospace/defense supply chain is preferred. A security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  3. Develop compliant RFQ package for supplier quotes in support of program proposals.
  4. Coordinate and manage RFQ process for supplier quotes.
  5. Analyze RFQ responses.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transportation, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics / Applied Economics, Data Analytics / Business Intelligence, or similar
  • MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • U.S. citizenship

Nice to have

  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
  • Supply chain experience for an aerospace and/or defense company.
