3pl Engagement and Segmentation Manager

Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson · Pharma · Zug, Switzerland

This role is for a 3PL Engagement and Segmentation Manager at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on developing and deploying capabilities for managing third-party logistics providers. The role requires experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or partner management, with a preference for a Master's degree in a related field. What you'd actually do

  1. Build and maintain the Fit-for-Purpose (FFP) segmentation model for the global 3PL portfolio, including model design, data inputs, scoring methodology, and periodic refresh cadence in line with the defined process steps (Segment, Determine Engagement, Deploy Model, FFP Governance, Trigger Re-assessment)
  2. Develop and maintain the segmentation scoring framework, incorporating site criticality ratings, risk assessments, operational performance, and financial materiality inputs from Operations, Procurement (Source), EQ, EHS, and Finance
  3. Define engagement models by partner segment, including the intensity, frequency, and format of partner interactions aligned to segmentation outputs (e.g., operational reviews for standard partners, strategic Top-to-Tops for critical partners)
  4. Design and deploy account plan templates and governance cadence standards (MBR, QBR, T2T) for each partner segment, supporting consistent application across regions and alignment with contractual commitments
  5. Support the definition and maintenance of the hypercare construct for underperforming or transitioning partners, including entry and exit criteria, escalation paths, and remediation tracking
