This role is for an Operations Supervisor in the filling area at Eli Lilly's Suzhou manufacturing plant. The supervisor is responsible for leading and managing frontline staff, ensuring safe and quality production of pharmaceutical products, adhering to GMP and environmental standards, managing shift performance, and facilitating communication between teams. The role involves direct supervision, training, coaching, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for the effective leadership and the direct supervision of frontline staff (i.e., hiring, training, coaching/leading, and developing) on their shift, including integrating the day-to-day oversight of the process, equipment, facility, and people to safely produce quality product.
  2. Ensuring that day to day work adheres to safety and environmental, procedures, policies and standards.
  3. Ensuring that day to day work adheres to quality procedures, policies and standards as well as ensuring conformance to GMP and OSSCE expectations.
  4. Measuring shift performance and conducting process monitoring, including reviewing and documenting data accurately and timely (e.g., batch production records, analytical methods).
  5. Ensure that frontline staff are trained, qualified and fit to do their work and that the shift is properly staffed to conduct the operations in a safe and compliant manner.
