This role is for an Inbound Expert at Target, responsible for managing the flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. Key duties include sorting, stocking, organizing, and maintaining product availability. The role also involves operating equipment, processing defective items, and supporting guest services. What you'd actually do

  1. Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
  2. Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
  3. Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
  4. Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
  5. Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Skills

Required

  • At least 18 years of age or older

  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

  • Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement
  • Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
