Target is hiring Inbound Experts to manage stocking and merchandising operations in their stores. This role involves executing sorting operations, stocking shelves, maintaining product availability, operating equipment, and processing merchandise. The position also requires supporting guest services and ensuring a positive customer experience. Key responsibilities include efficient operations, safety compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
  2. Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
  3. Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
  4. Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
  5. Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Skills

Required

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
  • Work both independently and with a team
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
  • Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

  • Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement
