777x Structural Analysis Engineer

Structural Analysis Engineer (Level 2) for the 777X program, focusing on performing structural analysis, supporting test execution, defining certification deliverables, and investigating in-service product improvements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform basic structural analysis using well-defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance.
  2. Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  3. Support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  4. Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance for customers and regulatory agencies.
  5. Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years’ experience performing stress analysis using classical hand analysis methods
  • Experience in commercial aircraft stress and structural analysis.
  • Experience with metallic and composite structural analysis.
  • Familiarity with Boeing analysis tools such as Common Structures Workstation, IAS, CASTLE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA.
