777x Structural Analysis Engineer (experienced, Senior and Lead)

Boeing is seeking Structural Analysis Engineers (Level 3 and Level 4) for the 777X Program in Berkeley, Missouri. The role involves developing and documenting structural requirements, guiding product design, verifying structural integrity using analytical methods and finite element models, developing test plans, and supporting certification and in-service products. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
  2. Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.
  3. Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
  4. Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  5. Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance for customers and regulatory agencies.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree, or related experience with a PhD. (Level 3)
  • 9+ years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years with a Master’s degree, or 4+ years with a PhD. (Level 4)

Nice to have

  • Experience in commercial aircraft stress and structural analysis.
  • Experience with metallic and composite structural analysis.
  • Experience with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis.
  • Familiarity with Boeing analysis tools such as Common Structures Workstation, IAS, CASTLE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA.
