This role is for a Medical Information Communication Specialist in Suzhou, China, under the Metabolic Business Unit at Pfizer. The primary responsibilities include promoting products academically, providing professional support to customers, organizing academic promotion activities, and collecting/analyzing market feedback within a designated region. The role emphasizes professional knowledge, compliance with company policies and legal standards (including FCPA and Chinese anti-corruption laws), communication skills, and business acumen within the pharmaceutical industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. In the leadership and guidance of the regional medical information communication manager, responsible for product academic promotion and customer professional support in the designated area, such as visiting customers to communicate/convey/feedback drug information, and holding product academic promotion activities, so as to achieve work goals (including but not limited to comprehensive assessment goals for professional skills, behavior, compliance, and performance).
  2. Provide timely and accurate professional support to customers under the guidance of company policies and procedures, and establish partnerships.
  3. Make effective customer visits utilizing resources under the guidance of company policies and procedures to achieve work goals.
  4. Plan and organize various academic conferences or activities under the guidance of company policies and procedures.
  5. Collect market and customer feedback information through company management systems and other compliant channels and methods, analyze it, and provide feedback and suggestions.

Skills

Required

  • University Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, or related fields.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Good English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Teamwork spirit.
  • Strong willingness and ability to learn.
  • Self-motivated, self-challenging, and able to manage stress.
  • Pharmaceutical industry related work experience preferred.
  • Strictly manage one's own behavior to ensure all daily work complies with company policies, industry standards, and relevant laws, including but not limited to FCPA and relevant Chinese anti-corruption laws. Strictly adhere to integrity, maintain transparency, and have no history of violating legal provisions in past work.
  • Internal applicants must meet compliance investigation process, disciplinary level & time limit requirements.
