Develops and manages educational programs for healthcare professionals to ensure effective utilization of products and adherence to industry standards. Focuses on planning and execution of educational programs at national and regional levels.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and execute comprehensive training programs for healthcare providers, sales teams, and internal staff, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, physician program directors and R&D, to develop educational content that supports product launches and ongoing education initiatives.
  3. Oversee the creation of training materials, such as presentations, videos, and manuals, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively address the needs of the target audience.
  4. Develop and implement metrics to assess the effectiveness of educational programs, making data-driven decisions to enhance content and delivery methods.
  5. Ensure all educational activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining high standards of quality and ethics.

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS required
  • 4 or more successful years of sales or professional education experience within Abiomed OR >7 years of related industry sales experience with proven track record of success
  • Must be able to travel overnight extensively, including overnight and weekend stays to conduct training sessions and attend industry events (50%)
  • Ability to use PC's and associated software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience in delivering presentations and training sessions to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
  • Understanding of cardiac anatomy and clinical data

Nice to have

  • MBS or MBA preferred
  • Excel, power point and graphic design skills a plus
