Abschlussarbeit Im Bereich Production Intelligence (informatik, Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik) (m/f/d)

Honeywell Honeywell · Industrial · Lotte, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany

The role involves working on a thesis (Bachelor's or Master's) in the field of Production Intelligence within the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) department. The focus is on developing modern software and automation solutions for future production, including digitalization, process optimization, MES integration, and scalable test/automation systems. The work will involve modern IIoT technologies, Industry 4.0 concepts, Industrial AI, and industrial communication standards. Specific thesis topics include developing a test stand for smart product parameterization, conceptualizing a new leak testing system, and developing a concept for automated palletization of gas meters. The role requires a background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Data Science, or Industrial Engineering, with an affinity for digitized production and automation programming. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, SQL/NoSQL databases, MES systems, or edge/cloud platforms is beneficial. The position is a paid internship for 6-12 months.
