Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager for AWS Industry Marketing, focusing on defense and national security customers. The role involves designing and executing targeted marketing programs to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth by showcasing how AWS capabilities, including generative AI, can transform defense missions. This is an individual contributor role requiring strategic planning and hands-on execution, working closely with sales, solutions architects, and government relations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and execute 1:1 and 1:few ABM programs for a defined portfolio of defense accounts, aligned to account-level business objectives and AWS sales priorities
  2. Develop account-specific messaging, content, and campaigns that translate AWS cloud and generative AI capabilities into mission-relevant value propositions for defense audiences
  3. Partner closely with AWS field sales, solutions architects, government affairs, and partner teams to align marketing activity to account strategy and pipeline goals
  4. Build and manage executive engagement programs, including briefings, roundtables, and immersive experiences tailored to senior defense decision-makers
  5. Measure and report on ABM program performance, including pipeline influenced, account engagement scores, and campaign ROI — continuously optimizing based on data

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels
  • Experience in brand identity and voice development

Nice to have

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
  • Experience in the defense or federal sector.
