Account Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

This is an Account Engineer Intern role focused on accelerating customer adoption of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. The intern will support customers in achieving rapid implementation and quick value, developing solutions, and contributing to customer success. The role involves understanding customer problems, communicating technical concepts, and leveraging AI-powered development tools. While the company is heavily invested in AI, the intern's role is customer-facing and solution-oriented, not directly building AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support new and early-stage customers in achieving rapid implementation, quick value, and a world-class experience on the Snowflake platform.
  2. Develop solutions to help this fast paced, growing organization of pioneers scale their impact to customers and the company.
  3. Drive customer technical enablement, including architectural best practices, workload isolation, warehouse utilization, resource monitoring, and RBAC/security setup.
  4. Deliver technical value using cutting-edge AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate customer solutions.
  5. Create and deliver scalable programs such as Hands-on Labs (HoLs) and webinars to educate customers on platform features and best practices.

Skills

Required

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fields
  • Hands-on experience or coursework in SQL
  • Foundational understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and core concepts of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and coding agents
  • Ability to build solutions and demos quickly, with a team or independently
  • Able to quickly understand problems and view them in the larger business context
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Fast learner with a strong growth mindset

Nice to have

  • SnowPro Core certification
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, especially in a data or application development context
  • Experience with modern data technologies (e.g., CI/CD tooling, orchestration tools) or a basic understanding of Data Science concepts
  • Experience in AI conferences or competitions
  • Familiarity with NLP concepts like prompt engineering, chaining, and fine-tuning
  • Familiarity with containers
