Account Executive, New Business role at Twilio, responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and helping companies unlock the full potential of Twilio’s communication platform. This role involves owning the entire sales cycle, collaborating with internal teams, and achieving revenue targets.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive new, upselling business revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing high-impact opportunities with a set of enterprise customers.
  2. Own the entire sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation and closing — with a focus on strategic and consultative selling.
  3. Understand customer needs and business drivers to position Twilio’s platform and APIs as transformative solutions.
  4. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical leaders, and business decision-makers.
  5. Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Product, Marketing, and technical teams to design and deliver value-added solutions.
