Workday is seeking an Account Executive in Tokyo, Japan, to drive new customer acquisition for their AI platform focused on managing people, money, and agents. The role involves strategic account planning, solution selling to C-suite executives, and managing sales pipelines for enterprise clients.

What you'd actually do

  1. 担当エリアにおける重要な商談機会を選別し、対象を絞り込み、成約に導くための戦略を立てます。
  2. 担当案件のアカウントプランニングを行い、プリセールスやその他部門と協力しながら、戦略的なすり合わせを行います。
  3. 大手企業の見込み顧客を対象とした弊社ソリューションの提案営業とサポート、および価値訴求の推進を行います。
  4. 既存顧客 / 見込み顧客、パイプライン、サービス予測データを正確かつ速やかに更新します。

Skills

Required

  • Field sales experience selling to CxOs for 5+ years (SaaS / Cloud-based ERP / HCM / Finance / Management / Analytics solutions)
  • Experience negotiating with various executives
  • Experience closing business opportunities
  • Experience developing methods for lead generation/prospecting in assigned territory

Nice to have

  • Track record of contributing to shortening sales cycles (e.g., lead generation)
  • Ability to analyze industry strategic competitive landscape through trends and customer needs, and efficiently deploy our solutions within customer companies
  • Experience involving internal members and collaborating on account sales strategy
