Samsara is seeking an Account Executive, Commercial to sell their Connected Operations Cloud platform to small to medium-sized customers. This role involves end-to-end customer engagement, from prospecting to closing deals typically ranging from $5k to $20k. The ideal candidate will have experience in closing sales, a proven track record of quota achievement, and experience selling in the commercial space with high-volume transactional sales.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
  2. Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, as well as receive inbound leads from our account development team.
  3. Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
  4. Experience handling and owning transactional sales process with high volume demands.
  5. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

  • 1+ years of experience in a closing sales role
