Account Executive, Commercial (east)

Vanta is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive net-new logo acquisition in the Commercial segment. This role focuses on closing six-figure opportunities per quarter, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, experience managing complex deals, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders. This is a remote position based in the US East region.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive net-new business acquisition within the Commercial segment
  2. Close 5+ six-figure opportunities per quarter, managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution
  3. Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and partner/channel collaboration
  4. Engage directly with senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO) to deliver tailored, consultative value propositions
  5. Work closely with legal, product, engineering, solution engineers, and GRC specialists throughout the deal cycle
