Account Executive, Commercial Sales

DocuSign is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and expand existing accounts within an assigned territory. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and achieving sales quotas. This is an individual contributor role focused on selling DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, including e-signature and CLM solutions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas
  2. Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into a geographic territory or within the core verticals
  3. Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and products demonstrations, by phone and via online demo
  4. Develop and negotiate enterprise level proposals and contracts
  5. Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of prior sales experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including CRM tools, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Google Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in a quota-carrying sales role within software
  • Proven success with prospecting, developing leads, managing complex sales-cycles, and closing deals in small-to-medium or mid-market accounts
  • Strong business acumen that includes prior experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships, anticipating change, adjusting priorities accordingly, and working effectively as a team
  • Comfortable with some ambiguity, demonstrating a willingness to learn and ramp quickly
