Account Executive - Fintech Named

Plaid is seeking an Account Executive for their Fintech Named team in New York. This role focuses on building customer relationships, identifying business value, and driving the adoption of Plaid solutions within a territory of accounts. The Account Executive will work closely with internal teams to understand customer goals and communicate how Plaid's solutions can help achieve desired outcomes, managing the end-to-end sales cycle and pipeline.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build close customer relationships and identify business value and impact of Plaid across your territory of accounts
  2. Go deep and wide in customer and prospect accounts to build support for adopting Plaid solutions
  3. Win as a team — in partnership with your outbound sales development rep, account manager, technical account manager, implementation manager, product organization, and other members of your account pod.
  4. Deeply understand each customer’s goals and priorities, and effectively communicate how Plaid’s solutions can help them achieve the desired outcome.
  5. Leave no stone unturned - you're a self-starter and take the initiative to get things done before being asked. You think two steps ahead, anticipate potential risks, and take action to proactively mitigate those risks.

  • 7+ years in a quota-carrying direct sales role
