Account Executive - Gov & Healthcare

This role is for an Account Executive focused on the Public Sector & Healthcare market, responsible for owning the sales lifecycle, fostering relationships, driving retention and engagement, and identifying trends to inform product and marketing plans. It requires enterprise sales experience, understanding of the government and healthcare markets, and strong business planning and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the Public Sector & Healthcare lifecycle. You'll own strategy, planning, execution, and results within identified governments and healthcare institutions alongside a Customer Success Manager to drive additional MAU growth.
  2. Foster relationships within your account. You'll onboard accounts and provide strategic sales support to ensure a successful deployment of Canva across multiple departments and cross-functional implementations
  3. Focus on the Public Sector & Healthcare community. You'll run a healthy and predictable business that delivers a jointly agreed customer transformation strategy
  4. Understand the Canva user lifecycle. You'll establish close relationships with our passionate community of Public Sector & Healthcare users to know first-hand what they need to become successful Canva users.
  5. Identify trends and usage patterns. You'll utilize data analysis to inform future product and marketing plans.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years as an Enterprise Account Executive
  • Strong track record of closing complex deals and driving revenue growth within large organizations
  • Understand Public Sector efficiency solutions
  • Able to communicate with government systems on how Canva can improve visual design literacy
  • Comfortable selling government software solutions combined with real-world experience in design
  • Drive MAU growth across these organizations
  • Excellent Collaboration skills
  • Experience with Implementing new Technologies
  • Deep understanding of how government institutions roll-out new technology and the ways institution-wide deployments operate
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Strong Business Planning Skills
  • Experience in Community Management
  • Understand social media standard processes and tactics for educating audiences
