Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. This role is an Account Executive focused on new business in the Iberia region, responsible for identifying opportunities, executing sales strategies, engaging stakeholders, aligning technical and business requirements, building value, negotiating commercial terms, and closing deals. The role requires extensive sales experience, preferably with technical products to enterprise customers, and experience in payments sales. The candidate must be able to understand technical requirements, develop account plans, work with diverse stakeholders, present effectively, lead complex negotiations, and operate in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Expand business with high growth technology companies and traditional enterprises
  2. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close - partnering with cross functional teams along the way (SDR, Product Sales, Solutions Engineering, Risk & Legal)
  3. Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
  4. Drive deal strategy and commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals
  5. Be responsible for account mapping and coordinating effective meetings with the appropriate external stakeholders expanding the customer relationship
  6. Collaborate closely with the Regional Partnerships team to drive brand awareness and pipeline

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of sales experience
  • selling a highly technical product to enterprise customers

  • Previous payments sales experience
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products
  • Ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organizations
  • A knack for working well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreement
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
