Account Executive for Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, focusing on developing and closing new business or expanding existing accounts in an assigned territory. This role requires exceeding sales quotas, managing pipelines, and collaborating with internal teams. The position is hybrid and requires native Japanese and business-level English fluency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas
  2. Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into a geographic territory or within the core verticals
  3. Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools
  4. Collaborate effectively and engage various pre/post sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, as well as Legal, Security, Professional Services and Customer Support
  5. Travel as necessary, typically 10%

Skills

Required

  • Native level fluency in Japanese
  • Business level (reading and writing) in English
  • Proficient computer application skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • 5+ years of experience in an AE role or equivalent quota-carrying role

Nice to have

  • Experience selling web-based products/services
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
