Account Executive, Mid-enterprise

This role is for an Account Executive focused on selling Klaviyo's platform to mid-enterprise clients. While the role itself is not directly building AI models, it emphasizes the use and exploration of AI tools to enhance sales workflows, improve efficiency, and drive customer value. The candidate is expected to have AI fluency and a proactive approach to experimenting with AI applications in a sales context.

What you'd actually do

  1. Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.
  2. Continuously experiment with AI tools—testing, learning, and sharing insights to keep the team and organization ahead of the curve, as well as championing new applications that accelerate workflows and elevate quality responsibly.
  3. Apply AI fluency to streamline work, reallocate saved time and reinvest into more meaningful, high-impact areas.
  4. Build and grow Klaviyo’s Mid-Market and Enterprise client base
  5. Drive full-cycle sales efforts: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of closing experience, preferably in SaaS or MarTech
  • Experience hunting net new business from self-generated leads through negotiation and closure (closed/won)
  • Comfortable navigating strategic deals with multiple stakeholders and complex buying processes
  • Experienced in technical selling—able to communicate value with clarity and confidence
  • Based in Boston, MA and available to be in-office 3 days/week

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the marketing automation or CDP space is a plus
