Verkada is seeking an Account Executive in Osaka, Japan, to drive sales of their AI-powered physical security platform. The role involves owning the full sales cycle, building a pipeline, and collaborating with partners and solutions engineers. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of sales experience, native-level Japanese, and strong communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including outbound activity, online demos, proposals, and negotiations.
  2. Build and grow a strong pipeline of all industries across Western Japan.
  3. Work closely with local integrators, resellers, and channel partners.
  4. Develop a deep understanding of Verkada’s product suite and its relevance to the Japanese market and broader physical security ecosystem.
  5. Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to deliver tailored technical demos and ensure successful product rollouts.

Required

  • Native-level Japanese
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, competitive, and dynamic environments
  • Tenacity, self-motivation, and a strong desire to learn and grow

Nice to have

  • intermediate to business-level English
