Stripe is seeking an Account Executive for their Startup SaaS Platform team in Europe. This role involves managing and growing relationships with existing SaaS platform startups, helping them leverage Stripe's financial infrastructure to support their business goals and customers. The position requires a strong sales background, technical understanding, and the ability to lead complex sales cycles and negotiations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Directly manage and nurture a named account list, and develop account plans to grow and expand business with SaaS platform startups
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, and coordinate the right executive touchpoints
  3. Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through close
  4. Work with leaders across Engineering, Product, and Finance to lead complex product workshops and financial analysis
  5. Lead complex, bespoke commercial and contractual negotiations

Skills

Required

  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • 5+ years of sales experience selling a technical product
  • Proven experience moving sales opportunities from inception to close by leading complex, multi-party sales in a consultative manner
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to become a trusted resource for decision-makers across technology and finance functions within software companies
  • Ability to understand complex technical problems and how Stripe’s solutions can address them
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
