Account Executive - Public Sector

Databricks is seeking an Account Executive for the Public Sector in Singapore to drive revenue and business expansion. The role involves evangelizing the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform, prospecting new sales opportunities, engaging with decision-makers, and exceeding revenue targets. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of SaaS sales experience in Public Sector/Enterprise markets, a proven track record in enterprise sales (ideally Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS), and a business-outcomes-focused sales approach.

What you'd actually do

  1. Evangelize Databricks' Unified Analytics Platform powered by Spark and launch the Databricks brand in Accounts across all industries
  2. Prospect, identify, and source new sales opportunities, building pipeline individually and with the Databricks SDR team
  3. Engage with business and technical decision-makers and lead them through the evaluation and buying process
  4. Exceed individual activity, pipeline, and annual revenue targets
  5. Engage with and drive business through local partners (technology partners, ISVs, SIs, and GSIs)

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to Public Sector/ Enterprise/mid-market/commercial/ Customers in Singapore
  • Proven success in Enterprise Sales roles, ideally in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology
  • Demonstrable experience in selling innovation, ideally in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology
  • Solution and business-outcomes-focused sales approach (Command of the Message, MEDDPIC, Challenger Sale)
  • Ability to simply articulate intricate cloud & big data technologies and their business value for the customer
  • Proven success and upward trajectory in whatever you have done
