Account Executive focused on acquiring new customers in the Public Sector in Spain, driving sales strategy, developing marketing plans, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. Requires experience in field sales, particularly in data or cloud technology, with a proven ability to manage complex sales processes and achieve significant ARR quotas.

What you'd actually do

  1. Achieve sales quotas for allocated, prospective accounts and on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list, and a regional sales plan.
  2. Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
  3. Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Snowflake solution within the marketplace.
  4. Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  5. Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of field sales experience
  • 5+ year’s industry focused experience and generating new business within prospective public sector accounts
  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships
  • Experience hitting quota of $1M+ of ARR per year
  • A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
  • Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions
  • Executive level relationship management
  • Ability to understand the "bigger picture" and the business drivers around IT
