This role is for an Account Executive focused on the Indian public sector, driving the adoption of AI within government entities. It involves leading market entry, managing the full sales cycle, navigating procurement and compliance, and collaborating with internal teams to tailor offerings. The role requires extensive enterprise sales experience in the Indian public sector and a deep understanding of government technology adoption.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Anthropic's market entry and expansion in the Indian public sector, establishing our presence and building relationships with key stakeholders across central and state government departments, ministries, and agencies
  2. Own the full sales cycle for Indian public sector opportunities, from initial outreach through to successful deployment, with a focus on building long-term strategic partnerships
  3. Navigate the unique procurement requirements, security standards, and compliance frameworks specific to Indian government technology adoption, including GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and other procurement channels
  4. Collaborate with policy teams to ensure alignment with Indian government AI strategies, the IndiaAI Mission, and Digital India initiatives
  5. Engage actively with government-led AI initiatives, including participation in forums like the India AI Impact Summit and state-level AI conferences
