Account Executive, Small to Medium Government

This role is for an Account Executive focused on selling Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, which includes AI-driven features, to small to medium government clients. The primary responsibility is to drive new business and expand existing accounts by achieving sales quotas and managing the sales cycle.

What you'd actually do

  1. Find, run and close sales opportunities for net new logos
  2. Expand existing Docusign footprint within customer accounts
  3. Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas
  4. Develop and negotiate proposals and contracts
  5. Craft and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations, by phone and via online demo

Skills

Required

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant sales experience
  • Sales experience closing net-new business selling a SaaS-based offering
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas in past positions
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship
