What you'd actually do

  1. Own the Velocity: Manage the full sales cycle from aggressive outbound prospecting to closing high-growth SMB accounts.
  2. Translate Vision: Turn Base44’s AI capabilities into "business-speak" that resonates with CXOs, Product Leads, and Founders.
  3. Build the Blueprint: Shape the foundational sales motion, including messaging, outreach strategies, and customer segmentation to support future scale.
  4. Drive Early Revenue: Identify and convert high-potential prospects, building the early momentum that defines our market presence.
  5. Collaborate & Influence: Act as a critical feedback loop between the market and our product team to influence the roadmap and positioning.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience in a technology company, with a proven track record of smashing quotas.
  • Experience in SMB: You excel in environments with shorter sales cycles and high-volume deal flow.
  • Bottom-up Sales Fluency: Experience with PLG or "land and expand" motions—you know how to leverage Individual Contributors (ICs) to drive organizational adoption.
  • Entrepreneurial Grit: You are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with the ambiguity of a "startup within a giant" environment.
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to tailor complex messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

  • Technical Curiosity: Experience with AI, ML, or developer-centric SaaS is preferred. You should be comfortable discussing technical workflows with stakeholders.
