Stripe is seeking an Account Executive for their SMB team to acquire and grow customers on their financial infrastructure platform. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, understanding client needs, and driving product adoption within the SMB and Startup segments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify high-potential prospective users from inbound leads and outbound prospecting
  2. Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for SMBs and Platforms
  3. Develop and implement full sales cycle strategies for driving new logo and product adoption
  4. Solve complex client needs and work across product, sales, risk, and operations teams to improve our platform
  5. Generate your own leads through cold calling, blitzing, research, networking, and driving your territory

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of sales or prospecting experience, preferably at a technology company
  • Ability to understand complex technical ecosystems and build great relationships with technical customers
  • Analytical ability to manage complex sales cycles
  • Experience managing projects with input from cross-functional teams
  • A knack for working well with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Ability and motivation to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
