Account Executive - Sri Lanka

Salesforce is seeking proven sales performers to help grow their customer base for their Growth Business segment in India. This role requires a hunter mentality for new business success, expanding within existing customers, and driving strategic CRM initiatives. The Account Executive will focus on customers in Sri Lanka, lead complex sales cycles, present the value of Salesforce's enterprise suite to C-level executives, and forecast sales activity. The role emphasizes relationship development, closing deals, and creating satisfied customers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Developing and maintaining relationships within our Growth Business segment focusing on customers in SriLanka.
  2. Leading complex sales-cycles and presenting to C-level executives the value of our enterprise suite of applications.
  3. Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce, while creating satisfied and reference-able customers.
  4. Demonstrating our product via the Web and in person.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience carrying quota and closing deals in software (business applications preferred) or technology sales.
  • Successful track-record managing deals with customers in SriLanka.
  • Consistently over-achieved quota (top 10% of company) in past positions.
  • Ability to create customer value and volume deals.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Nice to have

  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills.
  • Previous Sales Methodology training preferred.
  • CRM experience preferred.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, team environment.
  • Strong customer references.
  • Strong computer skills, including CRM, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
