Verkada is seeking an Account Executive for their UK mid-market sales team. The role involves hunting new logos, building pipeline, expanding accounts, and closing complex deals within the B2B physical security sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating the Verkada brand, building a book of business, and exceeding quarterly targets for demos, trials, and TCV revenue. Experience in quota-exceeding sales, closing self-sourced deals and net new logos, and familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC are required.

What you'd actually do

  1. This Account Executive position would be a 360 role, focusing on hunting new logos while utilising marketing and channel to source leads and build pipeline.
  2. The role affords the ability to expand accounts you land and scale businesses with the Verkada product portfolio.
  3. The successful candidate will be able to elevate Verkada’s brand in the UK, build a book of business from scratch, create strong client and channel relationships, navigate and close complex deals as well as regularly exceed goals consisting of demos, trials and TCV revenue targets every quarter.
  4. AE’s are encouraged to get on the road to visit partners and clients; valuing face-to-face interaction.
  5. The position includes a generous ramp period with quarterly revenue targets (including a qualified net new logo target within).

Skills

Required

  • Three+ years of quota exceeding sales experience working for a B2B technology vendor
  • Clear track record of closing self-sourced deals
  • Clear track record of closing net new logos
  • Experience running complex deals/sales cycles
  • Clear deal qualification framework
  • Clear understanding of your operating rhythm
  • MEDDPICC sales methodology
