Account Expert, Virtual Business

This role is focused on acquiring new business customers and managing existing accounts for T-Mobile for Business. Responsibilities include full-cycle sales, customer communication, research to understand business needs, and closing deals. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and self-motivation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. It is a sales-focused position with a target cash pay range and various benefits.

What you'd actually do

  1. Engage in daily customer communication and follow-up using various tools to complete outbound/inbound phone calls, emails, and online meetings/appointments.
  2. Understand customer needs, key contacts, and potential business opportunities.
  3. Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualifying to presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
  4. Attend all required product and service training to gain in-depth knowledge of T-Mobile for Business products and services.
  5. Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Technology Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Nice to have

  • 2 years inside, outside, retail, or similar sales position.
  • 1-2 years experience in customer service, sales and/or retention.
