This role focuses on managing and growing merchant partnerships for Uber Direct, a white-label delivery service. The Associate will own the commercial health of these partnerships, ensuring they scale effectively on the platform by developing growth plans, optimizing operations and commercials, and utilizing data analysis. The role requires strong analytical, commercial, communication, and project management skills, with a focus on driving growth and operational efficiency for merchants.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop plans in conjunction with your assigned accounts to expand their business through growing same-location sales (e.g. effective marketing) or adding locations (e.g. expansion support).
  2. You will build long-term relationships with our key accounts and be the main point of contact from Store Manager to HQ, focusing on improving their operations and optimising commercials.
  3. Quantify everything you do. Utilise an analytical approach to understand the performance of initiatives to ensure you are effectively prioritising those with the highest return on investment.
  4. This role will require fast thinking on your feet and moving swiftly through complex situations.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of customer or client facing experience ideally in account management, or consulting.
  • Previous experience setting and achieving business targets
  • Comfortable with data analysis, excel, presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
  • Understanding of how businesses and organizations work and how to navigate a partner’s business.
  • Ability to build creative commercial strategies for our partners in a fast-growing market.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders across businesses and levels.
  • Able to create detailed execution plans for large-scale projects (e.g. launching a new product, onboarding a major enterprise) and then deliver them to plan regardless of any surprises or ambiguity along the way
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, e.g., Commercial, Operations, Product (Tech), Finance and Legal teams.
  • Able to come up with new ideas and execute them autonomously
  • Polish and English fluency a must
