Account Manager for AWS Global Sales, focusing on driving adoption and revenue growth of AWS AI and machine learning services for a strategic customer in the Latam region. The role involves identifying opportunities to solve customer challenges with AI/ML, translating technical capabilities into business value, and surfacing customer insights to product teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive pipeline creation, adoption, and revenue growth for AWS services across assigned customer.
  2. Align with AGS leadership to define and execute sales plays, partner engagements, and field initiatives.
  3. Identify opportunities to solve customer challenges with AI/ML, translating technical capabilities into business value for senior stakeholders.
  4. Surface customer insights and feature gaps to AWS product teams, helping shape the services roadmap to better serve the region.
  5. Partner with other Account Managers, Solution Architects, and Support team to close complex, high-value projects.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience
  • Experience developing customer relationships and influencing key decision-makers
  • 5+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience, or Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
  • Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional experience
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, in technical and business settings (verbal and written).

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM), or experience in a relevant industry working within technology teams
  • Experience working with technology customers, such as software providers
