This role is for an Account Manager at Amazon, focusing on growing complex vendor accounts across multiple EU marketplaces. What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive the growth strategy for a portfolio of complex Pan-EU vendor accounts.
  2. Lead Pan-EU supply-chain strategy, driving cost reduction, defect elimination, and operational improvements at scale across your portfolio.
  3. Define and execute marketing strategies that drive traffic, conversion, and brand growth.
  4. Drive strategic selection expansion and product lifecycle management.
  5. Lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborate with internal teams (Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing), and translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform both short-term actions and long-term planning.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing strategic initiatives
  • Experience in Retail, FMCG, or a client/vendor-facing environment (sales, negotiation, etc.)
  • Experience owning end-to-end account or business performance outcomes
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools

Nice to have

  • Experience using generative AI tools to enhance workflows or decision-making, with effective prompting and evaluation practices.
  • Ability to make high-quality decisions with speed, even when information is incomplete
  • Demonstrated ability to respectfully challenge decisions and advocate for customers using data-driven arguments
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior team members
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing structure to complex, undefined problems
  • Knowledge of another European language (preferably German, French, Italian or Spanish)
