Account Manager for Uber Eats, focusing on managing strategic retail merchant partners to drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer experience. Responsibilities include managing commercial relationships, executing strategies, improving KPIs, presenting data-backed solutions, and coordinating between merchants and internal teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the commercial relationship for assigned retail categories, managing multiple merchants through annual planning and regular weekly and monthly business reviews
  2. Execute portfolio-level commercial strategies aligned with category and merchant-specific growth objectives
  3. Partner closely with operations teams to ensure a high-quality consumer experience
  4. Develop and implement action plans to improve key performance indicators, including tailored promotional strategies by category or specialty store
  5. Present and recommend data-backed solutions to merchants, clearly articulating the value proposition of Ads and Direct offerings
  6. Serve as the primary coordination point between merchants and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely execution

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience in account management, retail, CPG, or a similar commercial role
  • Prior client-facing experience, ideally managing enterprise or mid-market accounts
  • Strong analytical capability with confidence in making data-driven decisions and applying sound business judgment
  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex partnerships and delivering measurable results

Nice to have

  • Experience in Platform, Retail, or CPG industries
  • Experience managing complex datasets and tracking and achieving multiple OKRs
  • Strong project management skills, including experience building joint business plans and delivering consistent performance outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a cross-functional organizational matrix
  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to surface insights and influence product improvements
