This role is an Account Manager within Meta's Small and Medium Business Group (SMBG) sales organization. The primary focus is on leveraging AI-driven sales strategies to help businesses grow and transform. The role involves managing client accounts, identifying sales opportunities, educating clients on Meta's products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. While the role utilizes AI tools and emphasizes AI skill development, its core function is sales and account management, not the direct building or shipping of AI models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts, achieving and exceeding sales targets and performance metrics, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  2. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and create targeted business strategies, through customer strategic planning, operational rigor and sales acumen
  3. Responsible for harnessing data insights to inform strategic decision-making, leveraging the power of AI and automation to deliver tailored client recommendations, and adoption of Meta's products
  4. Educate clients on product solutions and best practices to drive the adoption of Meta's proven value solutions, thereby enhancing and growing existing business partnerships
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with client objectives

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years experience in sales, account management, or business development sectors
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguous and rapidly changing environments, demonstrating flexibility and a growth mindset in response to new challenges and opportunities
  • Demonstrated capacity to thrive in team-focused environments with a customer-centric approach, prioritizing deadlines and business goals
  • Experience leveraging data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills to translate business objectives into actionable plans
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive collective success and achieve business outcomes
  • Experience in Sales or Advertising industries
  • Proven technical skills (Excel, Google Suite or data analytics tools)
  • Familiarity with Meta's suite of advertising solutions
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing key internal stakeholder relationships to effectively support customer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
