Account Partner role focused on post-sales engagement with small-to-medium-sized businesses (restaurants, local merchants) to retain and grow accounts, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure partner success on the Uber Eats platform. Responsibilities include managing a merchant portfolio, driving revenue through upselling/cross-selling, analyzing performance, conducting business reviews, and collaborating cross-functionally to improve merchant experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and manage a portfolio of merchants, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor on Uber Eats.
  2. Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling Uber products and services (e.g., marketing solutions, Ads, membership, new products), while protecting and improving retention.
  3. Analyze account performance using internal dashboards and data tools; translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations and joint plans with partners.
  4. Build and execute regular business reviews (e.g., monthly/quarterly) to align on performance, goals, and growth opportunities.
  5. Partner cross-functionally (e.g., Sales, Operations, Marketing, Analytics) to solve merchant pain points, improve operational reliability, and unlock new initiatives.

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing external client relationships, preferably with SMB or mid-market customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to influence a range of stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Comfort working with data (e.g., spreadsheets, dashboards) to diagnose performance, identify trends, and support recommendations.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage a diverse book of business in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in food delivery, e-commerce, retail, SaaS, or marketplace businesses.
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding commercial targets (growth, retention, or revenue) in a quota or goal-based role.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and working with cross-functional teams to execute joint plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to move from insight to action with limited direction.
  • Data-oriented mindset; comfortable using data to tell a story, build narratives, and drive decisions with partners.
  • Entrepreneurial, ownership-driven attitude with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
