Account Solution Engineer

Salesforce is seeking an Account Solution Engineer (also known as a Pre-Sales Consultant or Sales Consultant) to present product offerings and architecture to prospects and customers, remove technical objections in the sales cycle, solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, and configure/demonstrate solutions. The role involves understanding customer needs, building customized demos, conveying deep product knowledge, and participating in training. The position is within the Sales category and focuses on the enterprise AI CRM domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Understand the customer's needs, and establish Salesforce's product as the best solution that solves our customer's challenges
  2. Build and present customized demos of Salesforce products
  3. Convey deep knowledge of the customer's technology as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions
  4. Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural trainings and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
  5. Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience at Solution Engineer/Pre-sales Engineer/Customer Success or similar roles
  • Solid presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments
  • Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology
